Summary:

Shape Array installation for TBM monitoring is a great success.

Getec with assistance from Geotechncial Observations ( UK distributor for Measurand) have sucesfully installed a series of vertical and horizontal shape arrays for measurement of slab movements and vertical pile movements as the TBM launched at Royal Oak Portal. The installation was for Team BFK , who are the main contractors for the Crossrail C300 Tunnel Drive. This is just one example of the versatilty of the Shape Array .We have sucessfully installed other sytems in sewers and assests that are to be passed by the TBM on its route to Farringdon.
