Dinorwic Pumped Storage Scheme Upgrade, Grouting

At Dinorwic Pumped Storage scheme Keller Geotechnique recently enhanced the grout curtain beneath the dam.

Dinorwic's pumped Hydro Electric Power storage scheme was one of the first in the UK to be built and recent dam up grades on the upper reservoir necessitated upgrading of the grout curtain. Keller lead this specialised field worldwide having at our disposal a vast array of drilling systems to drill to depths of up to 100m or more. We also have access to some of the most sophisticated grout types ranging from pfa blends through to chemical and microfine cement products.
